Indeed, the use of Tuff Jugs is quite adapted to the Club, Eco and Classic class, but the expenses imposed on an european team, if one also wants to participate in Spa, make that the refueling tower (~ £ 900) makes budgeting difficult.
The fact that Spa24h rules are written by drivers who are only Hybrid or C1 is problematic, as well as the identical fee for a Euro Classic or Euro Hybrid at Spa (£4300) while budgets are ten times lower.

Marty is right, the budget is a perennial problem for the Classic teams.
Without a promotional price as that offered to the UK 2cv at Spa, many Classic EURO cars will still sleep in the garage.
It's very sad and I don't think that will change in the future.
Anyway new C1 are still coming and they will take the place of the Classic initially (buisness buisness).

I wish a beautiful race to all the teams.

It's still more interesting to register as an Englishman to a £ 2000 while others to pay €4800... to drive at 24 hours Francorchamps.

It is also surprising that for some Belgian cars, it is forbidden to register in UK Club (the fear that we were asking the UK price) but there are still some exceptions with the 93...

Why?

Probably because it must be that some cars pay more expensive to cover the various reductions granted to different teams UK or Belgian teams.

So do not be surprised if a lot of Belgian teams or french may not come to the UK 24 hours before at Francorchamps 24 hours... we must save more to pay the big registration.
It's a shame, because by registering in UK Club with our Classic, with your low price, we could have come to 2 24 h races.

Meditate for 2018...

I was not involved in any pf the pricing negotiations with the Belgians this year. There has always been pressure towards UK entry prices as Belgian entry price (4400 euros) is twice what UK cars pay so not surprised it has gone up.

Not 4400€ !!!   but 4800€   :o :o :o

And also for the 2cv Classic (origin)  :-[
