Races (not 24 hr) / Lost sunglasses at Oulton.
October 13, 2025, 09:14:10
Bit of a long shot but did anyone find a pair of sunglasses while walking down to the trophy ceremony after the last race at Oulton on Saturday (possibly around the area that Tete Rouge were set up). They were in a black Ray-Ban case but are Boots brand aviator style glasses with green tinted lens. As they are prescription lenses they won't be of much use to anyone that found them. If you did find them please let me know. Thanks

Races (not 24 hr) / Oulton Park catering
October 08, 2025, 10:47:54
You may have seen in the press that there was a significant fire at Chequers (Oulton Park's catering establishment) last weekend.

I have rung them this morning to find out what temporary arrangements they have made. They tell me they are using one of the hospitality kitchens in the Fogarty Moss centre which is located down by Dentons and Cascades. So you will be able to buy food and drinks if you need to.

Hope that helps.

24h-Race / Revision to garage allocation
August 14, 2025, 17:13:24
I need to make a slight adjustment to the garage plan for a very valid mechanic/ team manager reason. Only the cars listed below have shifted garages slightly.

Garage 19. 113 Mr Schnecke
Garage 20. 89 P2W Racing
Garage 21. 40 Blueberry Muffins
Garage 22. 82 Reggie Mental
Garage 23. 48 SL Racing

All other garages and instructions remain the same on the previous post

Hi Suzanne

As long as you make your arrival early afternoon on Friday there should be no problem with entry. The club has hired all of the garages on Friday so a claim that you are part of the set up usually works. Come for help in garage 26/25 if you need it.

The plan at the moment is for there to be free practice before night time qualifying and then day qualifying Saturday a.m.

I'm afraid I can't answer exact timings as we are awaiting the final timetable from BARC.

I have been asked by several members to try and negotiate a deal for the testing on Friday 22nd. Unfortunately despite my best attempts I have not been able to do so.

Open pit lane testing on Friday will cost £425 for one driver (the use of a garage would normally be an extra cost but as the club has block booked all of the garages for our exclusive use on Friday to enable you to set up, this would not apply)

The next 2 additional drivers would be £80 each. A fourth driver would be free.

I am informed by MSV that this is the same costing for any series

Therefore the total cost of testing a car would be £585 if all drivers want a go.

FYI there are already 60+ Caterhams booked on the test day, so there are not many spaces left and would need to be booked directly with Snetterton.

Also remember that we have track hire from 6pm and there will be free practice before any qualifying.

Hope this answers your questions

See you all in 2 weeks.

So it is time to let me know your choices of garage shares for the 24hr. We have a total of 29 cars and 26 garages so there will need to be a few garages with 3 cars in a double. Reply to this or direct message me asap please. I will do my best to match everyone's requests!

Also I have been communicating with Snetterton about the time that we will be able to set up in the garages on Friday. As soon as I know the timings I will post them for you all. However, they have today added a track/ test day into their calendar for Friday 23rd August. If teams wish to do this you would need to book this directly with Snetterton this year through their website, this is not a club event. If teams decide to do this please let me know so that I can match up the garage allocations with Snetterton to save you moving.

Absolutely no problem Martin. I hadn't appreciated that you were doing the enduro with car 55 until the list was amended so it makes perfect sense.

We have been allocated the use of the garages for the Pembrey weekend and I have been given the job of allocating them.

As well as the 2CV's we have 2 mini's joining us for the enduro and one French team for the whole weekend. As the garages are in pairs I have put our visitors with committee members.

So here goes.....

Garage 1: 97 & 79 (furthest from the control tower)
Garage 2: 96 & 47
Garage 3: 16 & 41
Garage 4: 70 & 48
Garage 5: 40 & 35
Garage 6: 111 & 177
Garage 7: 55 & 22
Garage 8: 42 & 67
Garage 9: 49 & 33
Garage 10: 89 & 30
Garage 11: 76, 81 & 300
Garage 12: 80 & 92 (nearest to the control tower)

If you have booked in for the test day on Friday you may be able to head straight to your garage to save moving, but that's not guaranteed.

Hope this meets with everyone's approval.
