I know it's a little way off yet but do we have any info yet on the timetable for Anglesey. Is it both days ? Nothing seen on BARC site.

I assume the relatively recent changes to the Grand Prix circuit haven't affected the "National" circuit but I haven't raced at Silverstone for two or three years. I wasn't intending to attend the new driver briefing but maybe I should just in case.

Another question how many cars entered ? particularly how many Economy class entries.

I know nobody has received them yet but does anyone expect to have tickets going spare.
With Silverstone being our local circuit we have more family & friends attending than normal and only one driver ticket allocation.

Just thought I would share with anyone interested the fact that "Car Duels" is currently being repeated on Dave (Freeview channel 19). For those who don't know it has "celebs" racing in unusual / unlikely cars. One program, which I haven't seen myself, is Dean Macey versus Stuart Hall in (I believe) Steve Panas's and Gary Adnits 2CVs.

"Car Duels" is on each day this week at 12 midday & repeated at 17:00. The 2CV program is on this Thursday (7th) so if you are not already on your way to Snetterton might be worth a look.

This may be a bit premature as it seems there are not many entries yet but I have a number of friends planning to come along to Silverstone, as it is our local circuit.

If you know you will have any tickets going spare that you would be prepared to let me have please let me know.

I would pick them up on the day but it would be handy to know in advance an idea of availability so I can advise my friends if they are likely to have to pay.

I think Tim Dobson is looking for a drive and is currently working / living in Sydney, but is obviously planning to be back for the 24HR. He has raced a number of times with Paul Taylor's MRB team. I think his contact details are on the members contact list.
So maybe Tim was the name you were given but if not you could give him a try.

I agree with your sentiment that the Championship needs to be properly supported to survive but I would say that most if not all the people who have so far expressed an interest in Rod's suggestion considered it to be in addition to not instead of the Championship.

I am interested but it will be somewhat dependant on our championship format for next year (number of races, dates, costs etc).

I think there could be a fair amount of interest as I have just seen next years championship will be Enduro only

I am planning to be there too (with Paul Taylor's Car)
