In a joint effort between Team Gadget and Tete Rouge there will be a Barbeque on Saturday night to mark the passing of Simon Scott a joint founder of Tete Rouge in 1989.
 Known to most as Bas, some modifications we all use today can be attributed to him, 2 into 1 exhaust, sprocket flywheels, ported heads, I have no doubt some parts he made are still in use.

Maybe they think we like having our races cut short.

If anyone wants it i have an RRS Snell 2015 open face XL i no longer require.

Always fun to be around, fire works at Donington Park  was hilarious.
 He was involved in one of the most dramatic 2cv races at Mallory i've seen. Ed Drake Lee barrelrolled at Gerrards. The pack of six leaders two abreast and 3 deep entered  the corner flat out bump drafting, having not seen the yellows. The front pair lifted, the second pair lifted more, Simon in the 3rd row lost it and reversed at high speed into the rescue vehicle that had been sent out to protect the doctors car which had been sent out to Ed's incident(he was happily sitting with the marshals by this point)

I suspect you may be correct, at £100+/minute we don't want to be losing too many minutes. I wonder what Trading standards would say about consistently not receiving the product you have paid for ?
 Maybe next year it should be in our regs that race time cannot be shortened after the race has started.

Martin has agreement that 2cv's can get in before 7.00.If you're told different tell them to contact Paul Abbott or John Hutchinson.

From final instructions
The Organisers reserve the right to commence the race clock 4 minutes after the start of the green flag lap if
drivers are unduly slow in completing their green flag lap.
