One of the engines was well dodgy! just sayin  ;)

Probably the penalty engine ground and lightened rocker gear , scalloped spring caps etc.

Technical / Re: Seat 'frame' survey
November 18, 2017, 08:55:45
Hmmm why?
when someone does a survey there's something afoot

Hope its to do with safety as ive seen one seat installation that shouldn't have been on the track, if its to do with squabbling about percieved advantage then there's nothing in the regs...if i could find a suitable driver the seat would be in the middle at the back as thats where the "soft ballast" needs to be ( safer too!), but regs on pedal position makes this difficult ;D

I wonder what kind of tire pressures do you guys run them in the UK classic class?
You use a lot less steering input compared to us in the EU classic class based on what I see on onboard movies. Maybe higher tire pressures?

both cars did their job you cant regulate for every eventuality, racing cars ends up in crashes

In the past ive questioned the quality of the scrutineering due to cars passing without secure seat mounts or missing other safety critical things....on cars id been asked to work on

the regs are there they just have to be enforced both cars in this instance were built by experienced builders beyond the bare minimum, the fabricators should feel proud their good work

It also shut up our driver who moans about his Hans every time!

Has anyone contacted the R4 club, perhaps theyd like to come and play too
The only way to ensure a 602 will win is if there are only 602s on the grid.

Finally, there were a few teams who just won't come to Anglesey, but WILL come out if we go to Snett. We need more 2CVs on the grid.

So, those are just some of the reasons we're going to be doing the 24hr at Snetterton in 2017.

well if i stamp my feet and say were not going to Snett would you go back to Anglesey?

5.6.2.2 Interior:           No part of the interior which is an integral part of the bodywork may be removed or modified.

;D tho cant see any advantage to fitting flat floors as long as the box sections remain.

Oh dear Ive not quite taken all this in yet  :o
why not go down the C1 engine, sequential box, space frame, McPherson struts route, The club can do a glass fibre "Shell" that should address most of the problems highlighted. Oh and and we can call it the "Nearly As Much Fun Cup" because itll have nowt to do with 2cv racing.
