Hi everyone,  I assume you all know the time of Liens funeral is 3pm on Wednesday 23rd
I booked some rooms at a hotel in Wakefield as we are staying overnight. There is 1 room left if anyone is interested.
Otherwise I can cancel it.

It has now been confirmed that Liens funeral will be on 23rd October at 3pm

He is still beavering away

It is with great sadness that I have to inform everyone that Lien passed away today 2nd October 2024 at approximately 2.45 this afternoon.
He had been taken into hospital last Thursday with a chest infection that on Sunday night developedinto sepsis.
Very sad day for Team Gadget Racing.
My thoughts are with his son Tom and his Dad Cliff.
A very special thanks goes to Caroline who looked after him for the last 14 months.
Very special thoughts go out to her and her daughter at this sad time.
I will let everyone know about funeral arrangements as  soon as I can.

Team Gadget Racing are expanding into parts and servicing. We are now looking for a competent and experienced person to fulfill this role. The selection process will be extensive and thorough and 2 CV's will be required.

Am I the only one that thinks this seasons race meetings are a total arse?
How can we possibly have 2 meetings in Wales 2 weeks apart. It is totally impracticable.
It gives 1 weekend to get ready for the Angelsey meeting! That's if anyone can afford to go after spending an extra£600.00 on a non championship enduro at Pembrey.
Well I for one am not spending in excess of £1100.00 in travelling to watch to watch 4no 15minute sprints.
If anyone is on a monthly salary, they need to start saving now for their fuel costs, that's on top of the entry and food.
This timing has taken 1 of our cars out of this years championship already.Lets hope no ones cost of living is going up!?
