Hi all
British super bikes has now been canceled at Cadwell and moved to snetterton the week before our 24hr race!! here is what bsb have said

Cadwell Park. Quite simply, Cadwell is the jewel in the crown of the season and it's the weekend where the championship really celebrates the party in the park but anyone who's been to Cadwell will know from a logistical point of view it has the biggest challenge the season. We have to operate two pit lanes, there's a big migration of teams from the top pit lane to the bottom pit lane. Tented pit garages, just 19 of them that have to cope with all the superbike teams and you simply can't do what's expected now with social distancing and the more cautious procedures that are put in place, it simply wouldn't work at Cadwell for that reason. We're doing what we're doing to give the best opportunity to deliver a credible championship and allow us to put in all the operational detail to allow us to safely run it."

Can some one just clarify the length of the event, will it be a one day meeting as i am lead to understand the government guide lines state you cannot stay away from home over night, if this is the case there will be alot of traveling done for a two day meeting!!!!

I think you will find its not all about the distance and the logistics alot of people out there prefer the bank holiday weekend, as a mechanic and not a arrive a drive driver it takes alot of time out of your life and the extra day for the bank holiday helped alot, also the schedulde for this years race is not good with start times this is so the circuit can have a track day on the sunday this must be all about greed as the cost to race has gone up!! so all that attend have a great time but count me out

24h-Race / fuel filler necks
June 30, 2015, 23:12:01
I am led to believe that there are a few cars out there that will be entering the 24 hour race that need club filler necks; these are made to a specific club standard which will be required to match current specification.
If any one requires one for the race they are £85 each (plus postage and packing) and this is only for the stainless part and not the cap or hoses.  (Will speak to Paul or Phil and try and source caps).
The order deadline will be the 17th of July 2015 if you need to order one.  I will not be making extras so please ensure you get your order placed directly with me (Mobile 07977 579446).
Contrary to popular belief, this item is not available for rental. (Some cheeky people ... you know who you are!!!! thought they were last year!)
Cheers
Tony Barnett.

The only part to wear in the neck on a tuff jug is the 'o' ring many be the cheaper option would have been to source the rings I will speak to  simon Clark see what he can do!

Thank for the reply so really all you are are saying is that it was posted in the wrong thread so maybe the complete post should be re posted  under the "driving standards" thread

Wayne
I think you speak for many in the club!
It would be the honourable thing to do to hand it back, just to have your name on the trophy should be enough
How big is Nicks sideboard I am sure he has other trophies! !!!!
Need I say more
