Well done team Stinky. Yet again you've proved that the further I stay from Stinky the better she goes!

Excellent film - vastly better than anything we got from Tedious Gear.

I remember the fire extinguisher question coming up in the past. As far as I remember the final decision was that we could/should use the site fire extinguishers while fuelling but they had to be put back in their official position in between pitstops. This was because the fire regs would be satisfied that they hadn't simply been moved and left elsewhere but someone had charge of them within a reasonable distance of their official position and would be able to react appropriately. When replaced they were fulfilling their requirement on the fire plan.

That interim figure is excellent and must indicate the advertising potential for the future. I don't know the technicalities of the setup and do realise that full TV style coverage is the realm of fantasy. I therefore hope I'm being constructive when I say that, for me, the only downer in the online coverage was that often, when something interesting was happening in the pit lane we'd be switched away to see cars circulating. Is the output directed or is it simply engineered? Maybe I'm biased in being one of the dirty fingernails set rather than a cool driver dude!

Well spotted, Terry. That was ten times better coverage than we got from Turd Gear.

Congratulations all round. I couldn't get there on Saturday so I've just watched the highlights and thought it reflected well on everyone involved. The racing was excellent and the camerawork and direction first class. The commentators deserve a special mention because they were enthusiastic, didn't natter for its own sake and gave the racing just the right mix of funny and serious. Here's to the next time.

Races (not 24 hr) / Cadwell

I wasn't expectimg a lot; the field was sparse and a lot of the cars looked tired. Big wash and brushup for Mallory, perhaps? You pilotes made up for the shortcomings, though. The racing was excellent even if one commentator did seem to be of the opinion that Sammy is a bloke! Mind you, they thought Ainslie was Steve and I'm not sure who should be the more offended about that one . . .

If he finds some, should the scrutineer be checking the Quater mass in the pit?

I've got photographs of Snetterton 03,04,05,06,07,08,09, Cadwell 00,01,06,09, Mallory 06,09 and Oulton 03, 04. For newbies I have also got the sheet of "poptastic tips" which Sean and I put together in a moment of Snetterstress. Some photographs are at :

Well done. I was disappointed at not being there, especially as it was sunny! See you at the Costa del Snetterton soon.

Don't forget to sign. I'd expect foreign signatures - ours! - to carry some weight as we're bringing lots of readies into the local and national economy.

Best of luck and have fun; I can't get there to egg you on/hurl insults this year. How I'll miss camping in the sleet. Have they a live video feed, or are we ahead of them in that area?
