During the races at Silverstone, a few comments were made - both inside the paddock and people watching the livestream, about driving standards slipping.

In particular, running competitors off the track, and/or "crowding" them as they rejoin.

Please, everyone - take a look at your on-track behaviour and ask yourself if you think this would be acceptable to showcase our racing to people who are looking to get involved. Does it represent our normally high standards?

It seems the Snell 2010 standard for helmets has been withdrawn for 2024, so check your helmets (and extinguishers, harnesses) are in spec and serviced. Don't leave it until the last minute!

Hi there,
I am writing to ask if you would be able to put me in touch with a team, or a few teams that may be willing to help me gain some experience in the field of motorsport. I would love to help out and learn about car setup, and issue management. It would also provide a great opportunity to talk to drivers and learn from them as well.
I am a student, currently doing an integrated masters course in mechanical engineering at Southampton university, currently an active member in a formula student team. I am also in the process of getting my first racing license.

I have been made aware of two current spec race cars for sale.

Both raced in the 24 hour last year. Both are fast and capable cars, and both are very tidy and well maintained.

The Iceni car (#60) will be for sale soon, and is located in the Norfolk area.
The Rally Racers car (#68) is for sale now and is located in Cumbria.

Both are ready to race in the sprint races, and there's still time to put a 24 hour entry in!

Please find attached the final entry form for this year's race. *SAVE* the document first, then open it and complete it, and then save it again and sent it to [email protected] as an attachment.

Please ask your drivers if they are members of the racing club already. If they are not members, ask them to join online at https://2cvracing.org.uk/join-online-event - OR, if you want to pay for the membership of your drivers as part of the entry fee, please add £60 per driver to the total fee payable, and fill in their details in section 4.

Additionally make sure at least one driver is a member of BARC. There are weekend memberships available.

The next payment for the early bird scheme is the 1st of August. For most entrants, you have already paid £500, so the remainder is £1850.

NOTE: This is one of the meetings where we have a 20 minute race as well as a 15 minute race. The 20 minute race is to be held on the Saturday according to the draft timetable. On the entry form the 20 minute race is shown as the 2nd race, so I will swap the lists over when I send them to the BARC.

So in other words, if you have entered 'race 2' of the weekend at Pembrey, you will be running in the 20-minute race on the Saturday.
