Well done to all involved in the online coverage, greatly enjoyed in Scotland.

Commentary good, ability to communicate with commentators good. Images good, though out of synch with commentary in places and quite funny when you could see online who'd spun off but nobody could get the info to the two with the mics :D

Only one complaint! Would have been nice to see the presentation of awards, but all coverage ceased without a cheerio. Unfortunate but maybe a consideration for next time?

No I'm not dead ... honest ...

I have come to the conclusion that I hate working, it messes up my social life and other interests! I should find out by the end of the week whether or not I can make the 24hr this year ... sadly that's probably the only event I'll be at, but that will be an improvement on last year!!

Hope all are well and set for this year's racing  :)

Some of you will know of Jeroen Cats as he has been to the 24hr race and had a very successful web site.

It's with much sadness that I bring news of his death on the 18th July 2007.

Whilst driving his Ami 8 he was involved in a head-on collision with a lorry.

Condolences to his family.

Me and my Dyane won a prize at 2cvGB's Registers Day (held over the first weekend of July) we are officially the winners of the 'Shed Reg' for 2006.

Fabulous weekend! Not even the rain could spoil it!

Mega thanks to Team Red Nose for letting me gate crash their team this year, after Team Rambo withdrew. Also to the Stingray team sharing our pits for their most excellent heat lamp and humour!

To supercharge or not to supercharge......

Ok, purely curiosity on my part ('cos I'm Dyane daft) but how many people are running standard 2cv setup (i.e. no supercharging effect) and how many are running standard Dyane setup (supercharged) in their racing cars.

Not interested in who is using what, just wondered if there was a significant proportion using one or the other.

[I'm bored ok! I got up to early and avoiding doing any form of work!]

Is there anything planned this year ? Special entrance prices or 2CV camping area? I have heard of the possibility of a parade lap on the Sunday before the start of the race.
Another event is on at the same time (http://www.pistonfest.com), so a chance to see some other exotica .....
