Hi Nick, could we hold the AGM via zoom or teams?

Race car is booked in for MOT tomorrow... if that goes well, and we can then get the carb set up properly then I plan to enter.  

Is it going ahead though?  According to the BARC website the date is still provisional as is the Pembrey trucks meeting that i know has been cancelled.

eek... I remember when we all moaned because entry fees went up to £120 per sprint race.

Anyone know when the entry forms for it will be available?  What the fees are likely to be?

In the June Club newsletter there was the following paragraph...

Extra races at Mallory Park after the 24 Hour - maybe!
The Club has been in discussion with BARC and has now provisionally planned two 20 minute sprint races at the popular Mallory Park circuit on Sunday, October 11. This would make the 2CVParts.com 2020 Championship 4 sprint rounds and the 24 Hour, five rounds in total.


Has there been any further news on this?  If it's going ahead then I'll start preparing my car this weekend... if not, I'll need to find another race to enter to maintain my current run of having raced my car at least once a year for the last 23years.

Whilst on the subject of Cadwell... I'm sorry I won't be there to do my thing in the commentary box.  I've had no ticket through so won't be able to get in; instead I have decided to spend the day working on my car in the hope that I can enter Mallory.  Hope you all have a fantastic day's racing.

Thanks Trevor, that's genuinely helpful, I like to have a hard copy to hand much more useful than scrabbling around trying to get a phone signal and read a small screen

No paperwork I'm afraid... but Ed Mason did tell me that he drove Stinky in the first race at Mallory.  She was red in those days, he later painted her pink she she became Pinky Stinky.  When Carl Burger bought her she as painted purple, then David Hopwood painted her black.  Where the bootlid is chipped at the edges, all those layers of paint can been seen so I am pretty sure that my bootlid and roll cage at least were in the first race.

Hi Everyone,

I am becoming concerned at how few people have provided details relating to the seat mounting in cars.  We are trying to get enough information together so that we can word the regulations so that everyone currently doing something sensible with their race seats is deemed legal: that particularly applies to those of you who mount your seats on frames.  Please do let us have the measurements / pictures so that we can ensure that you are taken into account.
