Looks like every car will have to have these installed in 2027.....

Also, Meta glasses are absolutely prohibited by Ch.7, App.9 Art.1.8 which states:

Fitting of cameras to or within helmets is only permitted in accordance with Ch.9 whereby only the helmet
manufacturer's integral camera can be used and the helmet with camera installed is approved under an
accepted standard. Only glasses for the sole purpose of correcting eyesight in accordance with Chapter 6
Appendix 2 Article 6.7 (and/or sun protection) are permitted

There is no anomaly. Balaclavas are mandatory in Race events.

[sole purpose]

Edition 2 of the 2026 NCR was published on 3rd February 2026, a couple of points.....

The use of Meta Glasses (or other such bits of kit) is now prohibited by Ch6 App2 Art6.7.c. and Ch7 App9 Art1.8 Spectacles, which must be for the sole purpose of correcting eyesight (and/or sun protection), should be fitted with shatterproof lenses. Contact lenses if worn should be certified as satisfactory for motor sport by the ophthalmic specialist who supplied them.

Ch12 App4 Art4.17 Mobile phones and tablet devices are still prohibited from being carried in the competing Vehicle whilst on the
Circuit.

Mick,
"Large" is a bit of a misnomer. RRS helmets state large is = to 58/59cm, that is medium for Bell, Arai large is 59/60cm

What helmet has Lauren used before?

I have  Bell Mag9 size 59 which is FIA 8859-2015 (in date) but no MUK sticker on it (though that would not be a problem)

Give me a call if required

Just a quick note for any competitors who have to ballast their car to to the minimum weight.....

Two weeks ago at Silverstone the C1 Racing Club faced having their entire grid disqualified for breach of the new NCR regarding the size of the bolts used to attach their ballast to the chassis / body of the car.

The issue was resolved by a one-off exemption for them to run under the previous version of the NCR. It has been instructed by MSUK that this was a ONE-OFF and not likely to be issued in the future.

So if you do have to add ballast to your car, PLEASE make sure it is fixed in place using M10 bolts either grade 8.8 or 10.9

Version 9 has been issued.....

The NCR Toolkit has cross-referencing documents....

And the NCRs are ONLY available in electronic format, NO HARD COPY WILL BE AVAILABLE

All,
These are now in force....

Lots has changed..... one is that if you have ballast in your car you are now required to secure it by using M10 bolts, not M8

There are LOTS more things that have changed, and the NCRs are being updated on a monthly basis

Whatever the 2CV club and the Organising club want it to be, but DEFINATELY NOT attending a Judicial Hearing which they are not an interested party.......

...... and also as a support for any competitor, (whom may wish to have it) when called to the CoC for example.

Er....... that would be a nope.....

I am so shocked to hear this sad news. Rest in Peace Lien

If anyone wants a "light" bit of reading, you can do no better that -

Just seen this very sad news. Simon was a character whose company I enjoyed on and off the track. Sincere condolences to  his family. RIP Simon
