Dispatch of tickets is wholly down to when BARC decide it is reasonable and most economic. Due to the logistics of the event it is only reasonable to send tickets to the main entrant which is unfortunately dictated by the rate of information related to the driver lineup from ALL teams.
Supplementary regs are sent with the tickets. As there was no directive from the technical commitee to make alterations it wasn't conceived to be an issue. For first timers this may well be a problem initially and this situation could well be improved. The larger solution we require is an agreement from officials and competitors regarding certain criteria of the regs before and during the race. The "any further questions" at the driver breifing would have been an ideal time to air these views, many of which are recurring from year to year.
I do not believe it would be beyond the current electronic age to publish the previous years regs as a guideline to all and then initiate any changes closer to the event

Predictions for this years race will be soon posted. Any critical points will be happily received. The commentator at Croft specifically asked for the predictions this year as he will be diong the bit at Snet next month. Any driver details gratefully accepted or "see you in court" as they say. ;D

The latest figure for the confirmed entry this year stands at 23. This is ahead of what we normally have at this time and suggests that we will have another large grid for the race. Most people have taken advantage of the "early bird discount" this year with theclosing date for that being 14th June.  :D

Many congratulations to Martin Harrold for having the vision to arrange the necessary bits behind the scenes. The actual race was one of the best. The production by Motors TV was amazing. The 2CVs appeared to be just as fast as many others. As this was somewhat of a experiment for the promotor I believe he won't be disappointed. If the club were to invited to participate in further meetings of this type I think we should do our utmost to accept now we have seen how the whole project works This has potentially taken the club onto higher [safer] ground. Let's see what the written media have to say. ::)   

Michael Vergers has competed in the 24 before with us and has already booked a car for his Le Mans GT2 co drivers. You want to race the professionals then book your grid slot now.  ;D
