Am I the only one that thinks this seasons race meetings are a total arse?
How can we possibly have 2 meetings in Wales 2 weeks apart. It is totally impracticable.
It gives 1 weekend to get ready for the Angelsey meeting! That's if anyone can afford to go after spending an extra£600.00 on a non championship enduro at Pembrey.
Well I for one am not spending in excess of £1100.00 in travelling to watch to watch 4no 15minute sprints.
If anyone is on a monthly salary, they need to start saving now for their fuel costs, that's on top of the entry and food.
This timing has taken 1 of our cars out of this years championship already.Lets hope no ones cost of living is going up!?

Just to let everyone know
Jarrow funeral will be at Mintlyn crematorium on Wednesday 14th December at 3.15
And afterwards at the Chequers in Fridaybridge.

It is with great sadness that I have to let you all know that yesterday Mr Slav died.
Most people will remember him from race meetings and nights out with our crew.
He had worked for me for almost 17 years.

Such a hard worker and a genuinely nice man.
He will be missed at work and in the workshop and also at meetings and without doubt we will now struggle to find things!
He knew where everything was.
Sad day.

I realise it must be a bit of a nightmare sorting out these garages, but I have to ponder over this last revision.
We are sharing with Paul 3 to a garage as Paul would really like all his cars in 1 garage.
That meant we would be in 24 with Rilli.
But because we have an attachment with no26 Paul and I have come to a deal.
Basically if he doesn't agree , his lot will starve!
But with the last garage allocation I have to question who's 24 hour race this is.
In 23 and 24 we now have 3 different teams, which will pose problems. But why not put 3 mini's in a double garage?????
That would release a garage to allow 2 teams to a garage for 2cv's.
Is it not our race???

It does show that we are dealing  with a bunch of self centred pricks

It's quite simple, if they cannot accommodate a few vehicles and trailers before 7pm,they need to go on a course!

Trevor, there is no chance of having a bbq in the garages. If we are lucky,Silverstone might let us 2nd class citizens into the circuit at7pm Friday night. We are in the outfield of the paddock,nowhere near the garages.
We plan on having 40 fire extinguishers surrounding the bbq, just in case!
All attended by Classic car enthusiasts. Or stand by staff from the fire service.
And while we are on the subject of Silverstone,
If its on our list of meetings next year,I will Not be going.
How the biggest venue cannot find room to accommodate us before 7pm Friday is beyond me.
It happens every time. And it's not like they can provide food or bar when we are let in.
Anywhere else, we seem to be able to turn up anytime in the afternoon so we can set up ,unload and be able to go out to eat.
To the committee, please try to get meetings at circuits that are more accommodating to the people who help them survive.

 So you  hungry people,  it has been as appropriate to have some food at Silverstone on Saturday evening .
Along as you eat meat,that is going to happen.
I understand that the club bbq died a death 2 or 3 years ago. So I have been pushed into upgrading my home bbq and donating my old one to the club.
So on Saturday evening we will be doing sirloin beef rolls with a choice of toppings. Unfortunately there will not be a vegetarian option.
Thinking about food being ready about 7.30 -8.00.
