Race numbers

As required under the specific regulations for the 24 hour race, the reflective backgrounds and new numbers will be available to purchase from the club (via me) on Friday morning.

Might be shot down in flames, but why are we being made to purchase these number backgrounds?
Our championship regs say that number backgrounds will be provided by the club, and as the official supplementary regs only arrived last week with the tickets, its a bit rich of the club to make everyone pay for them

You have number backgrounds supplied free by the club.However the 24hr officials wanted full size number backgrounds and numbers on the bootlid or reflective backgrounds on the doors ,we went for the second option.This was decided after the entry fee had been announced otherwise the entry would have been £10 more and the reflective(which we don't need to supply) would have been "free".
If you want to supply your own reflective at your own cost you can.
