Just been looking on another motorsports forum & it appears Pembrey are charging competitors £10 to use hook-up this weekend  :o

That's cheap compared to what Oulton wanted a few years ago! Think it was either £20 or £50!!!!

Don't give them any ideas of charging for other items. The Belgiums have that side sorted, you even have to pay to be scrutineered!!

I suppose thats all part of the warm welcome from friendly, helpful, staff. 

Just another reason for us to tell them where to shove it. 

We pay for a service, and i strongly believe Pembrey do not provide a service of acceptable levels.  They are service providers, but their belief is that we are there because they allow us to be, not because we are paying for them to provide this service.

I think we can safely say that its not going present any problems this year anyway, as i understand we have not even bothered putting them on the fourth choice list after every other possible circuit in the country.

And their beer was crap in the bar!!!.

What do you mean pay for scrutineering?  Isnt that a nice way of saying we had to bung the scrutineer a tenner to get it through!!!??

Mind you i beleive you phil.  they even used to charge for taking a piss or a sh1t or shower in that place. 

If they could they'd charge you to breath!

Scrutineering was €13. There were still a couple of things wrong with the car but they let us go.......

Deposit against damage to pits or circuit, €500 - returned if no damage caused.

Day membership (which was refunded prior to the race), €70 each.

So there was a bit of a "who's got €800?" moment.........
