** quick update as to plans for 2013 **
* there has been a lot of work and discussion as to location, dates and costs. The Board view was that we should aim to deliver the same event as for 2012 with little or no price increase. It looks like we can do this and for 2013 testing moves to Saturday so less need for drivers/ crew to take any time off work *

I did say it was a draft..

Looks like the date for the 24 Hour will move back 1 weeks as follows:

Testing - Friday 30 August
Qualifying - Friday 30 August - night qualifying
Possibly day qualifying Saturday morning (we have asked for it to be Friday before 'night' qualifying but do not alwyas get what we want!)
Race - Start Saturday time to be advised

The move in date is due to MSV Snetterton not us or BARC. We would prefer the Bank Holiday.

Hope to have final details before Christmas including entry costs

Is this date now confirmed. Looking To book holidays from work and as this is school holidays need to do it sooner rather than later.

Many thanks and happy new year to all.

Scuderia cavallino

Oh no that weekend clashes with all sorts.
Now is it possible to do quali, 3 of us compete at prescott saturday and get back to do 24hr????

Nick Roads

Scuderia: Very possible to do what you want. Qualifying will finish Friday night then nip over to Prescott for Saturday. Race starts at 5pm probably, 4th driver can start and has 3 hours before he needs to be replaced so one of you needs to be back by then. Appreciate Prescott is a long way however. As documented we wanted the Bank Holiday w/e but the Trucks were very successful last year as well as us but there gate was higher and MSV could only mange 2 day events sadly.

Working on it Nick - don't let that garage space go just yet!
