Bill got me into racing. I saw him at Christmas and he still had his sense of humour despite being quite ill. He was a bedrock of the championship. Anyone at Mondello will remember one of his two smashed up cars, that seemed beyond redemption, being rebuilt by him and his team overnight and then racing it the following day - truly inspirational. A deeply sad loss

We had a lot of fun doing the 24hr race over the years.

I also remember lending him all the wing mounting nuts off my road car at Knockhill as he'd put his ones down somewhere safe....

...and the photo on the dartboard....

Instant update; just had a call from Sarah - the funerals's (provisionally) going to be on Friday 5th at 1.15pm. Location to be confirmed.

This is from Bridie....

We are having a humanist funeral for him on Friday April 5th at 1.15pm, Mountsett Crematorium (its near Dipton, about a mile and a half from the house). All welcome. There will be a buffet at the Plough, a few hundred yards from the crematorium, afterwards. I hope you can come.
