Shock horror  :o during scrutineering at Croft our car failed for the first time since my first race at Silverstone a few years ago, and I am glad it did........ whilst scrutineering was taking place, the scrutineer told Jon (aka Spanners) to put the fire extinguisher pin back into the extinguisher which he did and the scrutineer then pulled on the outside extinguisher cable and it was seized solid, Jon worked right up too qualifying to un-sieze the cable which he managed with minutes to spare - as I said earlier this is the first time we have ever failed scrutineering or indeed had any advisories from the scrutineer's - so a note to you all - when checking your car give your fire cable pulls a tug (don't forget to put the pin in) I am glad the scrutineer found it this way instead of a marshall tugging on it and it not working when needed.
