It is with great sadness I write, to tell all that knew him ,of the death of Simon Leith.
Simon was a huge fan of 2cv racing from his first 24hr race in the old Autosport car in 2003 his happy, smiling demeanour was infectious.
He became 24 hr race sponsor in 2004 and in 2006 won the 24hr race with Tete Rouge. His last race with us in 2007 alongside Pete Sparrow,Simon Turner, Gareth Howells and myself finishing 5th.
It will be with great pride and some sadness i will climb into his old car at Anglesey. The scene of much silliness,
you couldn't help but have a good time with Simon about, a lover of life as well as motor racing.
Once met never forgotten.
Rest in Peace

That is indeed very sad news. Do you know how he died Paul? He was very young with such a lovely family.

Not really Hill I spoke to Gary Byatt earlier, he told me a neighbour found him over the weekend. Apparently he hadn't been well for a while.

R.I.P Simon, I have some great memories of Stingray.
