Hi All,

Thought I'd give you some info on what 2cvGB have organised alongside the 24hr this year.

Site Opening Times
We have use of the blue dotted area from noon on Thursday 28th - noon on Monday 1st September. You are welcome to use these camping fields.

Site Access
To access the camping fields, beer tent, etc you'll need a wristband, these will be given to you by your team manager. If you're there before your team manager, come find me and I'll sort you out (07788100148). There's no charge for this, it's just an insurance/planning restriction that the event is a private event with guests identified by wristband.

Camping
As you can see there are 2 main designated camping areas. The 'quieter camping' is slightly further from the track to lessen the noise. You're more than welcome to camp wherever you choose.

Entertainment
We've organised a Ceilidh for Friday night, come join in! It's due to finish at 2300 so not too late/noisy. Disco on Sunday night, all in the marquee/beer tent.

Beer & Cider, possibly cocktails too
We'll have 5 real ales, 2 largers, 6 cask ciders and various wines and spirits on offer. Pints around the £2 mark (tbc).

2cvGB People
We're expecting about 300 - 400 members of 2cvGB. They have been told that under no circumstances are they to wander into pit garages, but are being encouraged to chat and ask permission if they want to have a look at your cars.

Dogs
You'll see there's a dog camping zone - we're being super strict on this. It irks me somewhat to have dogs at all as I am not a fan of canine kind. There will be a zero tolerance policy on dogs not on leads and dogs will not be permitted outside the 'dog zone'.

Food
Thus far we have people providing crepes, coffee, tea, BBQ plus the onsite cafe/resteraunt. Our coffee vendors are offering to stay open 24hrs for you. All of them will be near the marquee as per the map.

Hello
Thank you for the information.  Can I be cheeky and ask if that extends to the media (e.g. me) too?

I'm not sure how it works with the families of team members. My Mrs/child/dog are coming in a 2cv to camp. Do we pay separately or do they get in via me? just need to know as i haven't booked yet.
cheers
Pete

Don't forget about the fancy dress!
The older I get, the more rubbish I talk
(and the more pills I take)

Hello,

Not a member, but coming to spectate. Am trying to find out if we can camp at the circuit and have had trouble finding any details. Can anyone help me please?

Thanks in advance,

Dan

There will be a lot of people camping at the circuit, no idea where you will have to camp but I can't imagine it'll be a problem!

You have made my day by booking BLACKBEARD'S TEA PARTY for Friday night.

From personal experience of their live show I can vouch for their talent and energy. This is folk as you've never heard it before. The videos on YouTube aren't great unless you find the recent ones from Cropredy this year - where I saw them.
