smelly helmets

  I,m sure most of us have come across this problem before.
what do you do about your musty smelly helmet?
most just put up with it. after a while you get used to it.
well not any more. there is a remedy for that musty cheesy smell.

yes just drop a teabag in there and all will be sweet again.
tried and tested.

I think you will find that this counts as a non compliant modification.  If not specifically allowed by the rules then I am afraid you are going to have to remove the tea bag.  My understanding is that the tea bag modification could reduce visor steam up and therefore make the car faster. This is a clear contravention of the rules.  Sorry Teabag, we must comply.... ;D

not sure it matters how you place your teabag where your helmet is concerned,but it does help if you wipe it round the front chin area.
don't think we are contravening any rules as the teabag is not near your helmet whilst you are driving.

Is this a research project that was started some time ago? Does it make any difference what teabag you use, or are good old 'builders teabags' the best?

Yes this research project was started before last years 24hrs.
quite a lot of effort has gone into making this a success.
it doesn't matter what type of teabag you use but some are better than others.
we have perfected the teabaging procedure over the last year and i wouldn't want to give away trade secrets,but there will be samples available at the circuit.and of course if you want your smelly helmet teabaged, i am sure it can be arranged.

Haha   having seen some of the results of last year's testing I have no doubt that the "teabag"  is in some respects a truly stunning way forward........ Green or Fruit ?   The choice is yours    :)

think the kettle is boiling. you can't beat a good cup of tea.
need to have the right teabags though,bring some of those Yorkshire tea ones please lien.
the ones from down south don't have the same effect.
