Just a few questions for those that have been before,

do you need 6 point or will 4 point harness be enough
from what time on what day can you access circuit
what time do you need to vacate circuit
what is the system for petrol is it like our 24 or cash/credit card each time
assume if we use F1 garages we have our own pit lane as well
can use use illuminated numbers on pitboard - not that drivers will see them either!
what time does practise start on Friday
what time does race start on saturday

4 is fine, 5 or 6 is safer particularly if you have different size drivers. They must be less than 5 years old and FIA stamped

from what time on what day can you access circuit

Friday morning, assuming you are doing testing. Racing Hotel at Francochamps is place to meet on Thursday night for UK teams. Food served to around 9pm

what time do you need to vacate circuit

Sunday night you have to vacate garages or pay  1000 euro fine ! There are public areas outside of the main circuit

automatic credit card machine - does not like pre-paid currency cards like most european garages

assume if we use F1 garages we have our own pit lane as well

yes - but shared with whoever else is in that pit lane

Yes anything is ok with the belgians generally in terms of pit board - its very well lit on the F1 pit wall if I remember correctly so should be loads of time to see pit boards

what time does practise start on Friday

Belgian time...depends a little on who else is testing that day but worst option in my experience was 4 x 30 minute sessions and last year I think it was nearly all open pit lane

what time does race start on saturday

tba but expect it to be later afternoon as they like to fit in a decent lunch and some support races

Attached the entry form if anyone is good at translation. We just fill it in and sign away - have never had any fine or penalty

One thing I remember from last year was that we couldn't get there until later on Friday, so we missed the Thursday night meeting. This meeting is where you get your tickets etc., so you need to be there. Failing that, ensure Nick or someone picks up your pack, and then make sure you have a way of contacting whoever has it when you arrive! We were not allowed to enter the paddock with our car to get the tickets off Nick, so had to unhitch the trailer and leave it by the gates!!!
