Phil - if we had asked for £500 non-returnable deposit in February, we would not have got enough and the race would have been cancelled then. I had judged that interest and enthusiasm would build early in the season and that the market I created for s/hand cars would work in favour of those electing to come in. You will see several new names in the list. Sadly, we don't have quite as many as we need. Not a complete disaster at around 33, but not enough to secure the 2005 race.
Derek - this suggestion for a rule amendment is strictly for the 2004 24hr. I have no involvement whatsoever in the sprint or enduro series.
