Having attend quite a few races in the past and driven for the first time last year in the 24 hr, Martin seems to me to be capturing the spirit of the race. For a few it may only be about winning, but whilst we all hope to do well the whole weekend for most of us is about enjoying ourselves and the sense of achievement of completing the race. My team mates and pit crew, like all other teams are really looking forward to this years race and next years race and the one after that and so on. Why jeopardise the future of this race when a minor rule ammendment for one race, which will effect hardly anybody (if anybody) could easily solve the problem. As far as my team are concerned ( and i have consulted them) the more the merrier.
