The 24 hour race has drivers of all abilities (thank you, thank you...I know I am not near the top!). The prospect of a Mondello style nightime downpour and the ensuing lack of visibilty and grip combined with quick, rain tyred prototype 2cvs, no doubt with huge lights, going into the esses does not sound appetising to me. Call me slow or chicken if you like, I see plenty of bent cars!

As to Snetterton costs, I don't see this arguement. The desired entry of 40 cars and cost of £1250 gives the organisers £50k to play with - this was how it was planned for this year, therefore this is what the organsiers want. £50k divided by 32 actual entries is about £1550 or an extra £80 per driver. Doesn't sound much to me when balanced against the total of £7/800 per head for the race (or the number of hours some people have spent on dyno's and testing....).
