I have a couple of Excel spreadsheets that analyse the lap times, pit stops and so on of all the cars in about the top 20.  I ran out of steam when I got that far.  I did this by downloading all the race lap times and going through them laboriously.  By all means label me as a sad b***tard but there is probably some good info for serious teams.  Quite how the winners managed some of their pit stop times I cannot imagine but they were stunningly quick - as were their lap times in the wet.  What shows clearly is that althoug some of the other cars could be as quick, by and large the winners were streets ahead in consistency and incredible pace.  The number of laps between stops also indicates both major power and tremendous economy by the winners.  If anyone would like these files let me know and I will email them if you give me your address.  Cheers, Francis
