How can I tell if the thing is laminated.

It say's Dupliver..............

Is that French for Triplex?

If the screen is out of a fairly recent car (ie from 1984 onwards) it will probably be laminated.It will normally say on the screen somewhere.If you have to remove the screen from the car,have a look at the edges,if it is laminated you should be able to see 3 layers,2 glass and 1 plastic in the middle.

If you look at the screen through polaroid sunglasses it should appear to have a sort of iridised look to it if it is laminated, this is from the plastic membrane between the glass sheets
