JRZ (Nick Paton's) CAR FOR SALE

I am selling my red JRZ car... which as many of you will know is a front-running car that has multiple wins under its belt..  notably the 2011 and 2012 24hr races...  it regularly finished Top 3 in the sprint series, when I was driving it at least!   ;)

This car is a quite special, and I think it is fair to say has had a fair bit of time and money thrown at it!

THE CAR:

Most recently it has had a thorough go through by Richard Dalton who is the most successful 24hr winner (I hope I'm right in saying this!?)... with 7 wins under his belt.  New wheel bearings, various bits replaced including door hinges and fuel tank etc etc.
SLC chassis
JRZ two-way adjustable race dampers with remote reservoirs (GBP4k retail)
Sparco seat
Schroth Enduro belts
Race Technology Dash 2
Race Technology DL1 data logger
+ spares!
Wheels * lots (10+)
2 AM2 engine bases
Lots of tinwork (getting more tricky to find good stuff)
Lots of fans with the correct backings

THE ENGINES:
GBP1,750 EACH (I have 2 additional)
Have undergone a LOT of development
AM2 base
Webber
Special heads (1k a set!)
Uprated alternator
All built from new bits where it would confer a reliability or speed advantage... or old bits where the opposite is the case...   A LOT of time and money has been spent getting these engines to where they are... and they combine the knowledge of Philip Myatt and Mark Turner.  They are extremely reliable (apart, unfortunately, from at this year's 24hr) and demonstrably among the quickest on the grid.

I forgot to mention... I have ANOTHER set of identical JRZ shocks and a set of excellent uprated AVO's if anyone is interested.

The JRZs are quite special... in the wet at last year's 24hr the car was around 4 secs a lap quicker than anything else (with rain-meister Cox at the wheel)...  they are very similar to Motons and WAY better than most other stuff out there

would you take an offer of 4K for the lot?
all this detail of spec and costs sounds very special but, 2cv? 4K dampers? £1000 heads.
you definitely threw a lot of dosh at this, but was that necessary?

as an alternative, would you consider letting me keep the car for my use, for say the next three years?

that way, it would automatically be mine to keep thereafter!

i'll wait for the time being as we do have reasonably quick cars anyway without throwing quite as much money at them.
but we are only Norfolk pikey's working out of a farm shed in the middle of east Anglia.

I'm not sure how many more cars, spares or resources the Gadget team really needs but even for the shell, seat, dash, data logger and chassis I think 5k would be interesting to anyone with a long-term commitment to 2CV racing (taking out the engine cost which I'm guessting you're not interested in).
