Hi Pete, yes it is valid, the rating is Snell SA2025, assuming you are happy with it.https://ebooks.motorsportuk.org/najd/p355

Note that you will need to buy HANS posts separately https://zamphelmets.eu/product/hans-posts/#description and also a HANS device (technically called FHR device in the regs) if you don't already have one e.g. https://www.gprdirect.com/helmets/head-neck-safety-hans/fhr-hans-devices/page/1/

Pete.
Zamp are a very up to date helmet manufacturer and are used by myself and a large number of other driver in 2cv.

Smell 2025 is the latest spec and at present has no expiry date so will
Be valid for a good number of years.  Ten if imagine.

Do t forget the HANs Posts and if possible buy a helmet with them
Pre-fitted.
Zamp sizing is quite accurate and fit is very comfortable but snug.

HANS device will be required.  If you buy second hand then the only item that is dated is the tether strap which can be bought separately.

Take care with your overalls as any printing (if done) embroidery and stitching must be by the manufacturer and use appropriate fabric and threads.  The worst case is confiscation at the scrutineering.
Overall must have stitched in to the collar the FIA standard.  Found in cghapter 9. https://ebooks.motorsportuk.org/najd/p353

Whatever helmet you choose, I recommend going to a store where you can try it on. I intended to buy a particular Bell helmet as it was at a good price. Happily, I went into my local dealer, Alex Reade at Brands Hatch, where I discovered Bell helmets don't fit my shape of head. When I tried an Arai, it fitted my head nice and snugly.
