Dinner Dance and Awards Ceremony - 21 November 2026

So, a bit earlier than usual, but given we are approaching the season finale, it's time to think about the end-of-season celebrations (or commiserations as appropriate). Whichever, good company, food and a few beers will likely help.

The Dinner Dance and Awards ceremony will be at Westmead once again this year on 21 November 2026.

Invites will be emailed out to all current club members. However, for those of you who aren't members, here are the details:


You are invited to the Classic 2CV Racing Club Dinner/Dance and Awards evening on Saturday 21st November 2026! This is to be held as usual at Westmead Hotel, Redditch Road, Hopwood, Birmingham, B48 7AL.

Start time: 18:30
Dinner to be served at: 19:00

The cost of this event is £51 per person which includes a three course meal (with vegetarian/gluten free options available) and a disco. This must be paid for in advance of the event, by Friday 16th October at the latest but, please could I ask for your bookings by 25th September to give me a chance to make the arrangements etc..

Accommodation is available at the venue. The hotel have given us a discount code which can be used when booking: BK156702. Double, twin and single rooms are available. You can only use this code by calling the hotel directly to book the room – 0121 445 1202.

A full English breakfast is included in the price of the room.

Please remember to book your room in advance to avoid disappointment! 20 rooms are currently being held for us but some will go on general release mid-October.

Menu Options

Starter:

Ham hock terrine, piccalilli, toasted sourdough
or
Leek and potato soup (v)


Main Course:

Roast rump of beef (served medium rare), roasties, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and gravy
or
Roasted aubergine, tomato and chickpea curry, steamed rice, flatbread (Ve)


Dessert:

Lemon tart, wild berry sorbet
or
Vegan Bramley apple pie with vegan vanilla ice cream (Ve)

The hotel can also cater for gluten free and other dietary requirements on request. Please just ask on your form.
