Hi all, some info around the Discovery Channel's coverage of the 24hr race for anyone not already aware...

Warner Brothers Discovery's Quest channel brings viewers new series The Race Mechanic (working title) for October 2026, which sees Shed and Buried alumnus Sam Lovegrove take on iconic races across the country as both race mechanic and occasionally as co‑driver. This 8×60 series, produced by Beagle Media, follows Sam as he works with passionate owners to prepare classic cars for vintage rallies, endurance trials, hill climbs and time trials, blending expert engineering, rich automotive history and race-day jeopardy.

You may already be aware that the Discovery Channel has chosen us to be featured as one of the episodes of this new series. Sam Lovegrove will be part of the Blueberry Muffins team at the 24hr race and the channel will be following the lads v ladies / Muffins v Tarts competition throughout the race. We would anticipate most of the filming to take place around these garages but there may well be some scene-setting around the paddock. If you do not want to be filmed, the film crew are happy to accommodate this.

We are very much looking forward to bringing 2CV racing and the 24hr audience to a wider audience. However, please do not publicise this at the moment. The channel would prefer no publicity beyond the above press release at this time, plus a) it will spoil the surprise when we announce this, and b) it may cause excessive intrusion / attention in the garages.

As soon as we have some firmer details about the broadcast, we will let you know!
