What a superb weekend of close, competitive & exciting racing at this fantastic new circuit layout. Plenty of people will be kicking themselves that they missed this opportunity.
The whether was rather kind to us compared to some of the other classes racing which made for even better racing. However a couple of things that will be on the Christmas list this year will be:

A new stop watch - for the officials on the pit wall who started the watch going for race 2 on the green flag lap shortening our race.
A brain - for the pit lane marshalls that were standing in the middle of the faster lane trying to force you onto the shoulder (thats it guys, stand in front of a moving vehicle, should do you health care premiums a world of good)

This however failed to spoil a great weekend & personally i cant wait to go back to North Wales again
(never thought id ever say that)

Oh and surely a copy of the Blue book and some reading glasses for them should be on the christmas lists.

The pit lane marshals possibly weren't used to pit stops.....I didn't have a problem with them at all. Good fun weekend apart from the incessant rain when trying to relax and do nothing!

I think that sammie having to drive through waynes crew to get to us was totally unacceptable and bloody dangerous, and i have lodged an official complaint with our drivers rep about the whole fiasco .They knew we were coming, they also knew what races we were running, the clerk of the course should have properly briefed his marshals ,especially those in the pitlane.

This is of course only MY opinion.

Possibly not just the marshals...there was no mention of pitstops at the drivers' briefing (unsurprising, given that everyone had to attend) so possibly a general thing; if we'd had a separate briefing regarding pitlane stuff (along with the marshals, who may not have had to deal with this sort of thing before) there mightn't have been any problems.

I'm not inclined to point the finger; I suspect a lack of knowledge and communication more than anything else.
