Notice of Annual General Meeting and Sporting and Technical General Meeting 2026

 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Sporting and Technical General Meeting (STGM) ("Meeting") of The Classic 2CV Racing Club Limited ("Company") will be held at the Westmead Hotel, Birmingham, on Saturday 21st November 2026 at 14:00.
You will be asked to consider and vote on the ordinary business resolutions of election or re-election of directors of the Company (details to be shared) and approve the Company's annual accounts up to end of August 2026 (details to be shared) (AGM); and consider and vote on any sporting or technical proposals submitted (details to be shared) (STGM).

SUBMISSION OF SPORTING OR TECHNICAL PROPOSALS:

To submit a sporting or technical proposal for the STGM you must be a registered 2026 racing or full member of the Classic 2CV Racing Club at the time of submission. Any submission will also need seconding by another 2026 racing or full member of the Classic 2CV Racing Club.

When submitting a proposal, please state clearly which regulation this applies to (if applicable), your proposed wording for the change, and the reasoning for the proposal, including the names of the proposer and seconder. NOTES TO THE NOTICE OF AGM AND STGM
1. 2026 Racing or Full Members of the Classic 2CV Racjng Club Ltd included on the register of members at 1600hrs on 20th November 2026 will be entitled to attend and vote at the Meeting.
2. Changes to the register of members after that time will be disregarded in determining the rights of any person to attend or vote at the Meeting.
3. A member entitled to attend and vote at the AGM and/or STGM may appoint a proxy to attend, speak and vote on their behalf. A proxy need not be a member of the Company but a completed Proxy Form must have been submitted as per the details below.
4. Proxy Forms will be distributed by email prior to the Meeting. The notes to the proxy form must be read and adhered to.
5. To be valid, the Proxy Form must be sent via email to [email protected] and received by our email server no later than 1100hrs on Saturday 21st November 2026.
6. The return of a completed Proxy Form does not prevent a member from attending the Meeting in person.
7. A corporation, which is a member can appoint a corporate representative who may exercise, on its behalf, all its powers as a member.
