How to set up a luminition system ?

Hi all
Does anyone have a diagram of how to set up this system. There wear no marks on the engine's we had and the alloy piece can go anywhere on the crank as there is no key way ?

make sure you have a very good earth negative connection as can be a problem otherwise

Thanks for that. 
Only problem is our engine was in bits so we have no clue what order the bits go on ect.
Has anyone got photo's or somthing like that.

Also is the alloy but held in place by the pressure from the allen key in the end of the crank
