I first met Simon in about 1986 when he was running a Citroen repair workshop within his father's engineering business and I believe running that business too, Simon was helpful in suggestions of quality and parts requirements at the time I was setting up the business of ECAS. We felt that the standard of food was better than previous at the same venue, the company was genial  ;D. I guess it might be pleasant to be nearer a city centre for other attractions and spa might be nice but I guess the price is reasonable at the 'current' venue, Room (ours) was clean and large, hotel staff co-operative and friendly - locally owned perhaps?
