Hi, are our seats required to be under 7 years old please, or just FIA approved, cheers Ian

Pretty sure that for use in club level motorsport in the UK seats don't go out of date.

Seat information can be found here.  Our seats do not have to be FIA but must be a suitable competition seat as stipulated in our regulations, excerpt below: 


5.3.9 A seat specifically designed and manufactured for racing shall be mounted such that the fore/aft
centre line of the seat is a minimum of 150mm from the fore/aft centre line of the chassis. In
circumstances where the Seat is mounted at an angle to the chassis centreline, the centreline will
be checked at the extremities of the seat fore and aft, but not beyond the seat.

5.3.10 A metal frame may be fabricated from a minimum of 3mm steel or 5mm aluminium to connect the
seat supports to the chassis with a minimum of 4 bolts of minimum M8 size. Further M8 bolts to
the floor and / or sills are permitted. All bolts to be a grade 8.8 minimum. Seat Slider Mechanisms
are permitted but must in accordance with NCR Ch.7 App.7 Art.2.6. It is not Permissible to use
original standard 2CV seat adjust slider rail(s) .
