Finally sat down and am currently writing the latest Snails Pace. It includes the 24hr report, Mallory and Spa.

Its all going well but need help with compiling the team by team report for the 24hr. If any thing interesting happened in your race let me know otherwise i write the report simply based on changes in the time sheets and its not as detailed. Either jot down a reply to this or feel free to give me a ring if you want to talk it through! (07881 701099).

Any Mallory/Spa opinions/comments/photos much appreciated also!

Should have it done by the end of the weekend if lucky, thanks Rich.

I think Richard wrote this whilst dad was still logged in to the forum   ;)

Spa - I copied what was on the whiteboard (drivers, times etc), do you want that? There's Dick and Yvette's photos, too.

Hi Trevor,

Its being printed and should be with you by early next week.

Its taken well over 60 hours of Matt's, Nigel's and my time to produce, if your wondering and covers all races from Snetterton to Spa.

Thanks to all the people that have responded and contributed.

Annual to follow in early 2009,

Thanks Rich.

Thanks Richard,
Was wondering whether the senility was kicking in and that I had seen it and just couldn't remember!!!
Look forward to reading it soon
Cheers
Trevor

SP arrived this morning. Congrats to the editorial crew, there are some ripping yarns. I particularly liked the story about welding a cam nose back on at Spa. AND it ran afterwards!

Derek Coghill

Slight clarification; the points cam was welded to the cam nose as the points backplate/bobweights had disintegrated.
2nd slight clarification; it was Norry's car that retired on the first lap in 2000, not Graham's.

Mine arrived this morning too.

What a fantastic production, well done to all the Hollis's for producing such a good publication.
