Knickers, I had always aimed to start at Silvers, but nowhere near ready!
Latest issue is the weber carb we bought from the club with the adapter plate, doesnt fit. I presume there were different sized manifold stud spacings. Mine are too narrow.
If an easy option here please do let me know, otherwise Ill start making up a new adapter plate.

Paul Robertson

The adaptor plate is rubbish,it will fit just.
Remove the studs ,tap the two holes either side to m8 and drill and tap the single end one .Tack the countersunk bolts to the adaptor .Bolt the plate to the manifold with plenty of mastic ,put even more over the countersinks fixing the plate on. Fit phelonic resonator and carb.
Alternatively cut studs off level, tack to stop them rotating , mark through resonator drill and tap manifold with no adaptor .
Ring me if you want to talk it through.

Why dont you run at Silverstone on a solex, and have a look at some of the other weber fitments there. You can run very competitively on a solex.
