As this was our first time at Anglesey we would really like feedback from drivers, mechanics, wives cooks and bottlewashers.

I think this would be best done privately rather than via the forum as many may well want to express views that are perhaps too delicate for public consumption!! Hopefuly we can then use this to work with BARC and Trac Mon to make 2015 even better.

I have created an e mail account to which only Mervyn, Nick and I have access and will be kept confidential.

Privately?......
track excellent nice wide pit Lane and pit wall and good size garages... However the lighting on the pit Lane /start
finish straight was poor and needs improving pit signaling in the night was at times difficult and down right impossible when trying to get "Blinkered Baker"  to turn the lights on  (despite using every method we could think of it was a bit of a carry on. ::)....)
The general atmosphere was a reminder of days of old... Mondello..... Excellent
The atti tude of the circuit officials and marshalls was a joy    they aimed to please and delivered.. Many of them double shifted because they didn't want to miss the action... Massive thanks to them
All in all a Tip Top Weekend and a pleasure to race you all

nick nice toes

Lighting !!! Lighting needed from the start line onwards as impossible to see any signals from the pit wall.
this in conjunction with the drivers concentrating on their lines meant reading boards was very difficult and resulted in strange lines being taken from the pit straight  onwards  ;D

Had no issues seeing anything my team put out in the night, however it was mainly pictures of sheep, stupid phrases and general rubbish... not lap times!

Anyway great weekend, hope to be back there again next year!

I thought it was an excellent weekend and would love to race there again. The track was great fun to drive and was more of a challenge compared to Snetterton. The tie up with the 2CV club was also a major plus as it meant we had a decent spectator turnout !

Good points
Pits, garages
Pit stop café
The circuit staff were great
The fact you can see a lot of the track from the pit wall

Could be better
Corner lighting at night – I had no idea where to turn in at Rocket, turn 1 exit was hard to make out and the Banking apex was tricky
Pit signals – couldn't see anything at night, partly down to us to rethink the boards but the circuit could have a rethink on it
Showers – nice and clean but the shower performance was somewhat variable.
Wind – a bit too much, can we have less next time!

Good points
Great venue
Our pit board (not that it got used that much)
Did I mention the circuit staff! I found them very helpful and very friendly too! ;D

From a spectator/media point of view I found it a great weekend.

However, chairs in the media centre would be nice.  Having to stand up to copy photographs, back them up and get things recharged was annoying.  My mother was also griping that the cafe didn't sell cereal.  Mind you, if that's the worst of the criticism then I think we can assume that all went well.

I didn't try the showers but the toilets were always clean and tidy and well-stocked.  It was nice to be in a more "compact" circuit where everything is nearby.  I hope some of you got to take a stroll around the outside of the circuit because the views were stunning.

Thanks to you lot you have 4 more 2CV fans: my cousin, her husband and 2 little boys came along and immediately fell in love with 2CVs and the racing. ;D
